This is by far one of the craziest or most brilliant idea I have read on competition in advertising techniques.


The marketing team of Nokia in the United Kingdom took a different stance and stepped up in their marketing and advertisement game. During that period of time; Nokia has just launched a new model, the Nokia Lumia 1020. It was maybe during brainstorming session that their marketing team thought it would definitely be a fresh and kickass idea to have the poster of Lumia 920 plastered on a billboard truck instead of boring, normal and conventional stationary billboards.


Plus point here for the Nokia team were that the mobile billboard can tour around cities covering as many locations as they want. Secondly, mobile billboard attracts more eyes because it is a fresh idea. Thirdly is that you can have your advertisement truck placed side by side with your competitors just for the fun of it?
